A strong climber, it sticks to the wall by itself, often called wild wine. It reaches 10-20 m (1-2 m annually). Completely frost-resistant, undemanding and healthy. It creates a great barrier, fence. Perfect for cultivation all over Europe. Particularly useful for planting buildings and fences, but also suitable for planting near arbors, pergolas and various supports, its leaves turn red and purple in autumn. An excellent ground cover plant.
